Mass Effect 2

Posted by Europa - June 29th, 2009

I just saw the Mass Effect 2 trailer that was shown at E3 2009.

As Casey Hudson stated, "At the beginning of the game, you start to get an idea of something really scary, really dangerous, that you're going to have to do at the very end of the game. To get ready for that you're going to have to build up your crew, build the best team that you can, build up your ship, and then when you think you're ready you're gonna go in and do it."

"If you don't do a lot of the stuff, or make the right kind of choices, the ending will be a bloodbath, and the people that you brought with you will die, and it'll be a great ending, but it'll be that kind of ending."

It looks as if the BioWare is fixing all of the complaints about the first installment.

If it's even half as good as Mass Effect, it'll be a strong contender for GOTY.

I agree. BioWare puts a monumental amount of effort into the Mass Effect franchise. This game will be more of the same, high-quality role-playing that we have come to expect from them.

I just hope that the uncharted planets have more to do.

Casey Hudson has stated that he wants the uncharted worlds to "be more than cheap thrills" in Shepard's second adventure. I also believe that he said that side-planets would affect the ending or something like that. If this is true, then this game truly will be magical.
